Rubbish Love Shoppe ~ One of A Kind Items

I'm so excited to introduce you to the amazing Rubbish Love Shoppe which is a lovely sponsor of "The Big Bohemian Eclectic ~ Living Room Makeover". Shana and her husband Doug create amazing one of a kind pieces for your home, event, office or business. They also do blog design.

They were kind enough to send over this amazing painted sign which is made up of grayish barn wood that is over 150 years old. This sign was custom made for this project. I love that the sign was handmade and that the wood used was reclaimed and has some history to it.

Isn't it beautiful! I wish you could see the details and the grooves of this amazing piece. The lettering is hand painted so you're truly getting a one of a kind piece. Remember I said in my last post that I love books. Well, that is why I love the saying painted on this sign.

Rubbish Love has made over 700 hundred signs in the last year. They even did a sign for Krug Champagne, how cool is that! All items at Rubbish Love Shoppe are made from reclaimed wood or reclaimed items. They do this to show you how beautiful UP-Cycling can be. Their styles range from rustic to clean and classic but there is nothing they can't do or at least won't try.

Shana's husband Doug makes furniture from reclaimed wood and mason jar chandeliers. You have to check these pieces out they are truly amazing. They have been in business for about a year and half now. They love being able to take something that is considered unusable or trash and turning it into something you love.. Hence the name RubbishLove. They are both incredibly creative and they love customizing items for people. This allows them to use that creativity to bring peoples ideas and visions to life.

I think everyone should have more handmade pieces in their home. They add character and a story and they are so beautiful. Also  I can't wait to tell my friends and family that are having weddings and events about Rubbish Love since they also make some of the most beautiful event and wedding signs I've ever seen. I also appreciate that they are doing their part to help the planet by reusing items that most people are throwing out.

I love every piece in their shop but If I had to choose, here are just a few of the items that are at the top of my want list.

So head on over to their shop to check out the amazing items they make and also make sure to check out their blog since it's full of amazing ideas. Their blog is full of inspiration and their stories so make sure to pay them a visit. A Big Thanks to Shana and Doug for their beautiful contribution and their endless creativity!
